Terms of Service

1. About Munito

Munito AI France operates Munito. It is a French SAS with a share capital of €1,000, registered with the RCS Paris under number 131 309 247, at 229 rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, France.

These terms are a contract between you and Munito AI France. They cover the Munito website, console, and inference API. The Legal notice names the publisher and the host. Contact support@munito.ai with questions.

You must be at least 18 to create an account. If you use Munito for an organization, you must have authority to act for it.

2. Access and models

Munito provides access to open AI models for text generation, image understanding, and document extraction. Features and rate limits can change. Your rate limits depend on the usage tier of your organization.

Munito notifies you at least 3 months before it removes a model that is not a preview. A preview model has “(preview)” in its name, and Munito can change or remove it without notice.

Email verification permits console access. Where phone verification is available, it activates the free tier after automatic abuse checks. Munito can hold an account for a manual review.

A verified Google or GitHub email can satisfy email verification. Social sign-in does not replace a required phone check.

3. Account security

Provide accurate account information. Protect your password, session, and API keys. Do not share your password or publish API keys in client code.

Revoke exposed keys and contact support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.

4. Your content

You retain your rights in the prompts, documents, images, and other content you submit. Munito does not claim ownership of your inputs or generated outputs.

You authorize Munito to process your content to provide the requested service. You must have permission and a lawful basis to submit that content.

Munito does not use your inputs or outputs to train models. AI outputs may not qualify for intellectual property protection and may resemble other outputs.

Zero data retention is the default for transient inference. Munito removes temporary request artifacts after delivery.

For requests that select EU or US residency, Munito performs model inference and stores customer content in that jurisdiction. Global requests have no geographic restriction.

Cloudflare provides only DNS for Munito’s domains. Website, console, and API traffic goes directly to Munito’s servers, and TLS terminates there. Cloudflare does not receive or decrypt request content.

Explicit storage features, reusable uploaded files, stored responses, and optional browser persistence have separate lifecycles. See the Privacy policy.

The Data Processing Agreement forms part of these terms. It applies when Munito processes personal data on your behalf, as your processor or subprocessor.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not violate applicable law, intellectual property rights, or privacy rights.
  • Do not create or distribute unlawful content, including child sexual abuse material or content that unlawfully promotes violence.
  • Do not compromise accounts, distribute malware, evade access controls, or disrupt the service.
  • Do not bypass usage limits or use another person’s credentials without authorization.
  • Do not use outputs for consequential decisions about people without appropriate review and the safeguards required by law.

You may integrate the API into your applications. You remain responsible for your application and its users. Separate model licenses may apply.

Report security issues privately to support. Obtain permission before tests that could affect other users or service availability.

6. Review AI outputs

AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. Check them before use, especially when an error could cause harm.

Outputs do not replace qualified medical, legal, or financial advice. You must meet applicable transparency and human-review requirements in your own application.

7. Prices, credits, and payments

Paid offers are for business use only. When you buy credits or sign an order form, you confirm that you act for the purposes of your trade, business, craft, or profession.

The console shows the current price of each model in US dollars. Prices exclude VAT and other taxes, which Munito adds where the law requires. For a business in another EU country with a valid VAT number, the reverse charge applies.

Munito can change its prices. A new price applies only to usage after its effective date, and Munito gives notice of an increase before that date.

Credits are prepaid funds for usage at the current prices. On the Billing page you can buy from $1 to $10,000 at a time, and you pay by card. All workspaces and API keys of an organization share one balance. When the balance is used up, your organization moves to the free tier until you add credits.

You can turn on automatic top-up on the Billing page, or ask Munito in writing to turn it on. Munito then charges your saved card each time the balance falls to the threshold that you set, with the amount that brings the balance back to the target that you set, at most $10,000 each time, until you turn it off. If a payment fails, automatic top-up stays off until you retry it.

Purchased credits expire 365 days after purchase. Credits from an automatic top-up expire one year after the end of the calendar month of the top-up. Promotional credits have the terms that Munito states when it grants them. Credits have no cash value, and you cannot transfer them. Unused credits end when they expire or when you delete the organization.

Munito does not refund credits, except where the law requires a refund or where Munito charged you in error. A chargeback or a refund pauses paid access until Munito reviews the payment.

The console shows your invoices. An order form can set other prices, limits, or payment terms, such as monthly invoices, and it prevails over these terms for what it covers. A late invoice payment bears interest at three times the French legal interest rate, plus a fixed recovery fee of €40, under article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code.

Usage estimates in the playground do not replace an agreed price. Creating an account alone does not authorize a payment.

8. Availability and account closure

The service has no service-level guarantee unless separately agreed. Features can be interrupted, changed, or removed. Section 2 states the notice before Munito removes a model.

Munito may restrict access to address abuse, security risks, unpaid agreed fees, or legal requirements. Where practical, Munito will explain the restriction and allow a response.

You may stop use at any time. Delete your account in the console settings, or contact support. Closure does not cancel fees already agreed and incurred.

9. Responsibility and statutory rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Munito provides the service as available, without a guarantee of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.

These terms do not exclude liability that applicable law prohibits excluding. They do not limit mandatory consumer rights, data protection rights, or remedies.

Applicable law determines the law and courts that govern a dispute. Contact support first if you want to seek an informal resolution.

10. Changes

Material changes will carry a revised date and notice before they take effect where required. New paid commitments require the applicable offer terms.
